Q: When my baby is sick and I need to call the doctor, what questions am I likely to be asked?

A: You probably will be asked what are the baby’s temperature, and the symptoms that caused you to make the call. Have a written list of questions you want to ask.

You may be also asked:

• When awake, is the baby alert?
• Were there any medication given that caused an adverse reaction – and a medication that worked well.
• Report symptoms that concern you that you want the doctor to know.
